Bangladesh Budget to be announced June 10

The upcoming budget for 2010-2011 fiscal year of Bangladesh will be announced on June 10. Finance Minister of Bangladesh AMA Muhith disclosed it to reporters after a pre-budget meeting with the Non-Medium Term Budgetary Framework ministries at the Finance Division on Tuesday.
The finance minister said the figure of this years’ budget will be over Tk 1,30,000 crore and the Annual Development Programme size is likely to be more than Tk 38,000 crore. Muhith said all the ministries will be brought under the MTBF next year. He urged the ministers concerned for making a five-year budget plan and taking urgent steps to implement it.
